Who is that getting slotted in the speed blur soul photo and what kind of board is that?
Matt Howard on a nameless retro board. Baja Sur.
That is a common site at third point. He has an interesting quiver of retro boards. Many of them serendipitously gifted or purchased from someones backyard shed or garage rafters. He has some real interesting Mike Perry six channels that have the channels extending up well beyond the middle of the board on the rails and gradual shorter toward the stringer. He and MP both say that these boards don't know their top speed. They are point connectors for sure
great photos, especially the blurry slotted one and the last one. great stuff.
Props to both photog and surfer in that shot.
That's got to be my favorite effect in surf pics.
And one stylish pocket lowrider!
