It's kind of creepy how Laird Hamilton's character, Lance Burkhart bosses around Robbie Page's character while dressed in drag.

Wow, Nia Peeples is pretty hot.

This movie has probably the worst opening credits sequence in the history of cinema.

John Philbin's role as the hardworking and under appreciated surfboard sander Turtle is a quotable and sympathetic character and pretty much saves the movie from being completely unwatchable.

North Shore is the same exact story as 1984's Karate Kid.
