Aamion Goodwin Injured at Pipe

D-Surf ream rider Amamion Goodwin was injured at Pipe this weekend. Story on Surfermag.com,

Aamion stroked into a set wav and stalled, setting up for the barrel section. Just then another surfer, Cody Graham, dropped in late in front of him. It was uncertain whether it was the impact of Cody or the impact of the thick lip that landed on his leg, but Aamion came to the surface visually cringing in pain. Aamion's wife Daize ran down the beach, their young son in tow, to help him out of the water.

By the time Aamion reached the beach, his knee was badly swollen. An ambulance was called. No broken bones but he sustained substantial ligament and muscle injuries. It may take months of rest and physical therapy for Aamion to get back into form.
